we can arrange three different transportation options: a tourist bus, a private vehicle, or a flight. The drive will take approximately 5-6 hours, the bus 8-10 hours, and the flight approximately 35 minutes. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.
The drive takes approximately 2 hours. Then, begin trekking from Hile to Ulleri (2070m). This 7 km trek takes about 3 to 4 hours. The most challenging part of the hike is the final ascent from Tikhedhunga to Ulleri. This section involves approximately 3200 stone steps, which can be tiring. It’s a steep climb, but taking it slow and resting as needed makes it manageable. Overnight at a tea house in Ulleri.
Ghorepani historically served as a crucial resting spot for travelers and merchants on the Tibetan trade route. Today, it is a lively village that meets every visitor's needs, featuring both modern guesthouses and traditional teahouses.
Early in the morning, our guide will take you on a scenic hike to the Poon Hill viewpoint (3210m), where you can enjoy stunning views of the Himalayas, including Dhaulagiri (8167m), Nilgiri (7041m), Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) (6998m), Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna II (7939m), Annapurna III (7555m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Annapurna South (7219m), Hiunchuli (6441m), Lamjung Himal (6986m), and Tukuche Himal (6920m), among others. After breakfast at Ghorepani, we will continue our trek to Tadapani (2630m). The trekking distance is 11.5 km, and we will walk approximately 5-6 hours. Overnight at a tea house in Tadapani.
The trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk is the shorter and more manageable section of the Ghorepani-Ghandruk route. It covers 6.5 kilometers and typically takes 3 to 4 hours to complete on foot. Along the way, you'll pass through lush forests and charming villages, all while enjoying breathtaking views of the Himalayas. The drive from Ghandruk to Pokhara (915 m) takes approximately 2 to 3 hours. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.
If you do not want to fly, we can arrange different transportation to Pokhara: a tourist bus or a private vehicle. The drive will take approximately 5-6 hours, and the bus will take 8-10 hours. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
